At All for Kids, our goal is to provide the best care available for our patients. We have recently added the latest technology for testing flu, strep throat and RSV. These tests are recommended by the CDC as more accurate, the tests are a bit more expensive, but enable us to treat your child sooner.
Early detection of flu allows us to prescribe medicines that help your child get back to normal sooner. The new strep test no longer requires a strep culture if the test is negative, unless your doctor is concerned a throat infection might be something different than strep throat. The RSV test also is more accurate, thus assuring your day care if the child’s test is negative.
