Ibuprofen Children's Suspension 100 mg per 5 mL
When to use: Use Ibuprofen to reduce fever, relieve pain and reduce inflammation. It should be used to reduce high fevers which are unresponsive to acetaminophen (Tylenol).
Dose: Every six hours. (Maximum doses 4 per 24 hours)
Side effects: Gastrointestinal upset. High doses can affect kidney function.

Do not use ibuprofen for children less than 6 months of age.
Two brand names of ibuprofen are Motrin and Advil.
